The MPA, alongside fellow members of UK Music will be on hand to provide music industry advice to young musicians, songwriters, and business people at Industry Takeover's all day seminar and showcase.
The event is all about empowering the next generation of emcees, singers, DJs and young music industry professionals. Urban Development, in association with Rich Mix, will be ‘taking over’ the multi-media arts complex in Shoreditch, East London to bring you performances from top names in the urban music industry, essential master classes, open mic sessions, a music market and vocal/production workshops, as well as a series of exclusive video and short film screenings. Artists already confirmed to perform include Master Shortie, Princess Nyah and Devlin. The UD Creative media team will be on hand to film the whole experience and capture highlights from across the day.
Last year’s Industry Takeover attracted the likes of Ghetts, Hattie Collins (The Guardian, RWD), Donaeo, Crazy Cousinz, Ras Kwame (1xtra), Faith SFX, Justin Stennett (Dubplate Drama), Lady Lykez and Ben Scarr (Island Records).
